Norham pronounced "Norrum" is a small Border village on the river Tweed. Norham has a population of only 300 and so has the charm and character you would expect in a Northumbrian country village. It is steeped in history and is one of the most scenic locations in Rural Northumberland.
Our well equipped self catering accommodation is set within picturesque surroundings offering panoramic countryside views from our verandah and gardens.
We can accommodate up to 6 people and have 1 double bedroom with en-suite, 1 twin room with 2 single beds and a sofa bed in the lounge. Fernieside Lodge is perfectly situated to cater for all needs, for the active their is fishing, walking or cycling. But If you simply want a quiet break, our accommodation is a peaceful retreat any time of the year.
Salmon fishing on the Ladykirk (only a short walk away) Tweedhill, Pedwell and many other beats can be arranged through FishTweed. Trout fishing is managed by Ladykirk and Norham Angling Association and tickets are available in the village from Lynn's Newsagent and the two pubs. Other river, loch and sea fishing is available in the area.
